As they gave me permission to reproduce this I thought I would, but Lynx Links #02 made mention of the public lynx client here at bob.bofh.org, saying:

Public access Lynx

Lynx, as you probably know, has recently been upgraded to version 2.8. We're still stuck using 2.7.1, and we don't mind, really. It works just fine. But we were curious to try out the new release, and ran across this site which offers public access to the latest version. (Nice URL, by the way..)
When you telnet into the site, use your email address at the login prompt.
Public Access Lynx (2.8): telnet://bob.bob.bofh.org/

Which was jolly nice of them. Though of course since then the lynx client has moved from bob.bob.bofh.org to lynx.bob.bofh.org and then to it's current home at lynx.scramworks.net
